Ok so I say that there not the same and that the tournament of roses parade is meant to celebrate the new year And that the rose bowl parade is for football. But my friend says that all of it is one event and that both the rose bowl parade and the tournament of roses parade are both one parade meant for NFL PLEASE SETTLE THIS FOR US.

It is offically the Tournament of Roses Parade. But it is also called The Rose Bowl Parade or The Rose Parade. The Parade starts at 8:00 am PST. The Rose Bowl Game starts at 2:00 pm. The parade includes the marching bands of the two schools playing in the Rose Bowl Game. The parade’s Grand Marshal performs the coin flip at the beginning of the football game. The parade has nothing to do with the NFL. When New Year’s Day is on a Sunday, the parade and game are held on Monday.

Yes, they are the same. It hasn’t always been so. The Tournament was originally a mid-winter meeting held by the Valley Hunt Club as a promotional event; the Rose Bowl wasn’t added until 1902.

What are some black natural things for a rose parade float?
For my Floral class we are doing a Tournament of Roses. I need a material that is black because we are doing Snoopy on his doghouse. I’m already using black beans on the doghouse and I want to use a different black material on Snoopy. Any suggestions? Thanks!! (By the way, if you didn’t know, for rose parades, all of the materials must be natural and basically grown.)

Do you think you could use nori seaweed? Because that’s just like black paper, and you can cut it, etc. Black hijiki seaweed would be good for hairs (and that’s not as processed as nori).
