Are tickets required to view the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, or can we just show up early and view it for free curbside?

„Maliboo’s“ answer is correct. If you plan to attend be prepared for a cold morning. Pasadena is at the foothills of the mountains, and temperatures in the early morning hours can get as low as the 30’s. California does have a noticeable Winter.
Hotels in the area book up well in advance for the Rose Parade. Reserve your room as soon as possible.

Take the Metro Rail Gold Line there so you don’t have to worry about parking.
From the metro Line web site:
The 120th Rose Parade will take place Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009 beginning at 8 a.m. To accommodate the large numbers of anticipated riders, Metro will run additional trains and more frequent service on the Metro Gold Line. Trains will run every 7 to 8 minutes between 5 a.m. And 2 p.m., every 10 minutes between 2 p.m. And 5 p.m. And again every 7 to 8 minutes between 5 p.m. And 9 p.m.
Paradegoers can access any of four Pasadena train stations close to the parade route on Colorado Boulevard. Memorial Park and Del Mar stations are about two blocks from the Parade route; the Lake and Allen stations are approximately four blocks from the Parade route.
Parking is available at several Metro Gold Line Stations, including Sierra Madre Villa, Del Mar, Fillmore, Mission, Heritage Square/Arroyo, Lincoln Heights/Cypress Park and the largest at Union Station.
Metro is also teaming up with the Tournament of Roses to provide easy access to view the Rose Parade floats after the parade. Direct shuttle service to Victory Park will be available from the Sierra Madre Villa Station from the Bus Plaza on the first level of the parking structure. Shuttles will depart every 5-10 minutes January 1 between 12:30 p.m and 3 p.m, and January 2 and 3 between 7 a.m. And 3 p.m. Regular fares will apply.
Metro does not allow eating, drinking or smoking on board Metro trains or buses. To ensure public safety, Metro prohibits flammable products, barbecues and oversized items such as ladders, umbrellas, tents, chairs and coolers from being brought on board the Metro Bus or Rail system.

In 1966 Walt Disney serves as Grand Marshal of the Tournament of the Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. He and Mickey Mouse ride together in a white Cadillac. Sitting curbside with his parents watching the parade is a young John Lasseter – future Jungle Cruise ride operator and Toy Story filmmaker!

Are Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans destined to be rivals in the NBA?
They faced each other in an AAU game, in a Peach Jam tournament, Rose also had Eric Gordon as his teammate.
Then Rose went to college, he chose Memphis and became one and done player, so did Evans, he chose Memphis and became one and done player as well.
Rose won ROY, Evans is going to win it.
Both are PG’s with great scoring ability and all around skills.

They are destined to be rival in my opinion down the line we’ll be talking about hem the same way we talked about cp3 and Deron Williams or Jordan and Dominique Wilkens and Lebron and Kobe its just going to happen becuz down the line they are going to be the point guards of the future maybe throw Rondo in there.
I thunk Evans may be a better overall player but I would still take Rose becuz of his scoring ability when he goes to the whole theres nobody quick enough tio stop him
