Do you know what the Quran says about time and space?

Unlike the Bible, Quran expresses time as a RATIO.

Moslems believe that Paradise and Hell are both much bigger and much more massive than Earth (but still much smaller than God’s Throne). The theory of general relativity says that time passes slower near an object more massive than Earth (clocks run slower in stronger gravitational fields). So according to general relativity, time should pass in Paradise/Hell much slower than on Earth. Moslems say that this is what Allah says. It is stated in the Quran that 1 day in Paradise/Hell measures a 1000 years on Earth:

[Quran 22.47] They challenge you to bring forth that torture [in Hell] and Allah will not break His promise; a day of your Lord [Paradise/Hell promise] is like a thousand years of what you count.

Christians believe that God created the universe in 6 earthly days and rested on the 7th. Moslems believe that 6 days passed at God’s Throne but we experienced 13.7 billion years on Earth: Moslems believe that God is not bound to His Throne; rather He created it and set it as a reference. The Quran says that God’s Throne is even wider than the whole universe; so how about the mass of God’s Throne? God’s Throne is much more massive than Earth. Time should pass there much slower than on Earth:

Our solar system is 4.5672 ± 0.0006 billion years old. Earth started accreting concurrently with the sun and our neighbouring planets 4.5672 bln years ago. However the universe is 13.7 ± 0.2 bln years old. This places the age of Earth at one third the age of the universe (4.5672 bln/13.7 bln = 1/3). Moslems say that this is what Allah says. The Quran says that in God’s Throne time Earth is 2 days old while the Heavens, Earth and everything in between are 6 days old (2/6 = 1/3):.

God’s Throne > Paradise/Hell > Earth

The smaller the mass, the faster the time.

We are sure that time is relative, that is, the age of the universe is different for observers with clocks running at different rates. For example, there exists an observer who measures the age of the universe to be 3 billion years, however he also measures the age of Earth to be 1 billion years. But the Quran presented it as a ratio (1/3) and this ratio turned out to be correct for any observer (whatever the clock rate). If the Quran presented it in any other form other than a ratio it would have been wrong for different observers.

(The Christian Bible puts the creation of Earth on day one; making the age of Earth equal to the age of the universe).
@john:this shows that christians blindly believe in everything in the bible…while we muslims have taken the time to study every religious scripture and then come to a conclusion.

Hi guys im launching a website, Youtube Channel and a Facebook Page. BUT I Need i catchy name so that ppl will like my fb page and then from there they access my channle and my site InshAllah.

I want the name to be catchy, something related to islam because through the website and fb page i want to give dawah, raise awarness of islam and invite many ppl do my religion.

will Kitten(s) puppie(s) cats and dogs go to heaven when they pass away on earth?

will their spirits arise from their bodies and be brought to Heaven by guardian angels like humans? a place where they no Longer suffer and pass through the heavenly gates to a beautiful paradise. that has big yawn balls and dog bones everywhere and where they can play with the other animals while they wait for their owners to arrive for them?

How do you accept that good people go to hell because they do not believe in your God?

And yet murderers, rapists, thieves and cheats who „repent“ and who are „saved“ will enjoy all the benefits of heaven.

I don’t understand. So doctors who work all their lives in war torn countries treating refugees and famine victims go to hell if they are non-believers.(as many of them are) While the killers who find God (provided he was in the right building) get a free pass to paradise.

How do you come to accept this as doctrine, yet still call your God loving and kind??? How do you resolve that within yourself??
EDIT: Hey Gino. I am not afraid of hell. read my profile. I am a Buddhist. I am coming back . Again and again and again until I have learned all I can. Then I wil achieve Nirvana.

Of this I am certain!! I may only be on my first trip here, but that much I do know. So hell threats are really quite droll to me.It doesn’t stink at all, thank you.
EDIT: Overwhelmingly (apart from Catholics and I honestly did not know that) you don’t have to be good to get into heaven, just right.

And they offer no justification for believing that apart from the blind terror that questioning it might place their own ticket in jeopardy. How very spiritual of them.
So many people filled with hate and fear. That is sad.
