Hajime no Ippo

Makunouchi Ippo has been bullied his entire life. Constantly running errands and being beaten up by his classmates, Ippo has always dreamed of changing himself, but never has the passion to act upon it. One day, in the midst of yet another bullying, Ippo is saved by Takamura Mamoru, who happens to be a boxer. Ippo faints from his injuries and is brought to Takamura boxing gym to recover. As he regains consciousness, he is awed and amazed at his new surroundings in the gym, though lacks confidence to attempt anything. Takamura places a photo of Ippo’s classmate on a punching bag and forces him to punch it. It is only then that Ippo feels something stir inside him and eventually asks Takamura to train him in boxing. Thinking that Ippo does not have what it takes, Takamura gives him a task deemed impossible and gives him a one week time limit. With a sudden desire to get stronger, for himself and his hard working mother, Ippo trains relentlessly to accomplish the task within the time limit. Thus Ippo’s journey to the top of the boxing world begins.

It’s going to be hard to get up there because there are so many now, but anything is possible if you put your heart and mind to it. First get your buddies together for your first Team Meeting, it can be at your house, a park, or whatever. Your first meeting will be where you decide on your team name like 89th Virginia Rangers, or Red Daggers, (I’m just coming with names off the top of my head). Make it a unanimous vote on the team name. Also decide if you want this to be a group of just friends or if you want to recruit new players. Next if one of your friends are artistically talented or good with making graphics, have them start creating your team logo. It can be very simple or very elaborate. While the logo is being created, attend local games and start getting your skills up and learn other players tactic. Your next team meeting should be about deciding on what roles and callsigns your teammates will have (this is completely optional). Also decide on your logo and find a store or website that will create the patch.
Make sure you are well equipped as well, have good radios, cammies that match the terrain. Do not purchase Wal-Mart guns or put Wal-Mart bbs in a good gun, it will not last. Know what each teammate is equipped with. Good websites for airsoft guns are Evike, Airsoft GI, and Airsoft Megastore. I would not recommend airsplat because many people have had guns break in the box. I recommend G&G, Classic Army, JG, Well, King Arms, Echo 1, KWA, and Umarex for great airsoft guns. The most popularly used cammies are Multicam and classic woodland. I would not recommend ACU, as it does not provide good camouflage in woodland environments. Excellent camouflages are Multicam, MARPAT, solid colors, A-tacs, and Original Woodland. Good vests come from Condor and Diamond Tactical as well as NC Star. Wear boots, not tennis shoes. Also spray yourself with bug spray to protect from ticks. Purchase a GoPro camera to record your games and use it to help recruit for your team. Attachments are totally up to you. For facial protection wear goggles or a full face mask. Do not get an army of two mask as it does not allow to aim down your sights. You can always custom make your own facial protection, like I wear a shemagh wrapped fully around my head and goggles. It provides excellent protection.
Next practice like crazy. Teamwork is essential so you don’t get killed by your own team. Have team meeting maybe once a month and discuss the plan of month, when practice days will be, when game days are. Then begin branching out, going to games in other states and then attend tournaments such as Fulda Gap. You can have as many players as you want. Finally you can register your airsoft team at a website called Airsoft-Squared or make your own website. You can also make a facebook page.
