Your Questions About Poker Calculator Odds

Lizzie asks…

Poker Odd for fold/call/bet/raise?

I just downloaded a poker calculator to calculate my odds easily, but I don’t know what odds I should call/fold/bet/raise? Please tell me how much I should bet/raise according to the BB/Pot size and up to what I would call at what odds. It calculates the odds as a % but I’m fine with anyway your write them, or give me a website, thanks!

Like the other guy said, poker is a complicated game. It’s not like blackjack where you can list all of the right plays. Just use the calculator to learn how much odds% you have in a specific situation.

Carol asks…

Can you really earn money playing poker with Texas Holdem Bots or Odds Calculators?

admin answers:

How do you know your credit card info isn’t being hi-jacked by a hacker? The uneasy feeling chewing on that question should be enough to allow one to steer clear of such sites.

You can learn to play the „real thing“ by playing their free „pratice mode“ gameplay.

My advice: Register using totally fake name, address, email address–even using „555-555-5555“ as your telephone number, then enjoy the „pratice mode“.

texas holdem poker frequency calculator?

Basically I’m trying to find the odds of making different hands in poker. For example if you played 1000 hands, how often would you end up with a pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush ect… It would really help if someone gave me a link or anything at all.

admin answers:

Those are really hard to calculate because you can have any two hole cards and then add in the combination of having any 3 on a flop. You could run a program to see where your at but it’s tricky. Here are some after you see the flop and have a hand.

Poker frequency/luck calculator?

Basically I’m trying to find the odds of making different hands in poker. For example if you played 1000 hands, how often would you end up with a pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush ect… It would really help if someone gave me a link or anything at all.

With a 5 card poker hand and no draw cards, there are 2,598,960 possible hands.

1,098,240 of those will be „one pair“
123,553 “ „two pair“
54,912 “ „three of a kind“
10,200 “ „straight“
5108 “ „flush“
3,744 “ „full house“
624 “ „four of a kind“
40 “ „straight flush“

This gives you a rough idea of how frequent the various hands occur. But in most poker games, there is various betting rounds followed by additional cards which can make things more complicated. But at least you’ve got an idea how frequent you can expect various hands to occur.

Poker Outs Calculator?

Does anyone know if there is a program that allows you to practice your outs (not odds). For example, you could choose the cards that are on the flop and the cards in your hand….then if you were to assume that your hand wasn’t the best it would tell you how many outs this is.

admin answers:

How many outs you have depends on which better hand you’re against, so if there were such a program, you’d also have to tell it which hand you’re against.

And how hard is it to count?

I might have made it sound complicated before. But if you’re just talking about counting outs and not thinking about ranges, then it’s very simple. Which cards would help you, and how many of them left in the deck are there?

Just don’t over-count, for instance an open-ended straight flush draw is only 15 outs, not 17 (think about it). Or if you have a flush draw when your opponent has trips, you have less than the usual 9 outs because you can’t count the flushes that would give your opponent a boat.
