How can you claim your money back if a poker site closes your account?
If you despoit money into your poker account and win money but the poker team accuse you of cheating. Who can you contact to deal with this issue if the poker site does not want to open your account and return the money that you despoit and won??? Plus they are a internet base company?
Well i read reviews on sporting odds and it was very good indeed. They are accusing me of chip dumping. I’ve already contacted them and they said that i’m banned from playing poker on there site.
Is it possible to take illegal action. They also requested my passport, driving, and a statement. Now i’m scared they might commit fraud using my deletes. If you lot have any suggestion it would be most helpful cause i’ve never experienced this before.

Can I host a poker tournament with profits going to a charitable organisation?
As a university assignment, I have been given the task of creating an event with profits going to a charitable organisation. I am very much interested in poker and have held minor tournaments before back in the UK. However, this would be in Australia, and would be a little larger (maybe 50 players). The tournament would be on private property. There would be a small buyin for entrants and after I had paid out prizes, the rest goes to charity. I would cover any costs. Am I allowed to do this?

Absolutely…. People do this all the time. I don’t know if there are any strict laws about poker in Australia, but I doubt it.

Im planning on going to the WSOP next year. I know its 10K to get in so thats not the problem the problem is that i need to start playing so i can get better. I figured online poker would improve my game. I just dont know where to start or how much money i need to begin?

If you have facebook I strongly suggest joining the poker group. It is possible to play there with many other people (there will always be people playing). You get enough chips, can choose what table you want to play (blinds & #players) and there is a weekly tournament too where you can get chips as well.

How can you tell the difference between plastic and clay poker chips?
I just acquired a bunch of very old poker chips and I think they are clay but I don’t know for sure. I’m pretty sure they are not plastic, When I shave the edge of a chip it comes off as a powder. The color seems to go all the way through. Any sure way to tell?
Some of these chips are chipped, again, not like plastic. They have a rather dull sound when fipped on a hard surface. I bought a set of 80 at a garage sale, 40 white, 20 blue, and 20 red. They were in a zip lock baggie in a box of junk. Cost $1. There is a fancy design on both sides.

Don’t be shaving on them anymore. They are valuable. My father’s collection is worth over half a million. Leave them alone until you know what you have. There are poker chip conventions routinely. Try attending one to learn more about chips. Bring your collection and let the traders gander at them. Don’t act dumb. They’ll treat you well and they’ll be honest about what you have. But, poker chips websites thoroughly cover every chip that has ever been made anywhere in the world and will list their „value“. Don’t go by those values too much because for that one missing chip, a trader will pay whatever it takes to have it. I may be talking through my nose, though, if you’re already a collector, but just in case you aren’t, you should know this stuff. Have fun. Poker chip collecting and trading is the hobby of kings. You’ll get to meet really interesting people.
