Your Questions About Poker

Mark asks…

What are the biggest and most active poker social networks in the net?

I am writing an article for my blog Poker 2.0 Blog (http://onlinepoker20.com) about Poker related social networks. Not about Facebook or mySpace groups, but social networks designed only for poker player communities. What are the biggest and most active poker social networks in the net?

admin answers:

Hi, although I don’t believe it’s the BIGGEST poker social-network on the net, but you’d better check out allinspot poker. Http://www.allinspot.com

It looks like facebook.com, but poker game site. The people are networking like a social networking site on the Poker Platform, not like Facebook, where people play poker on facebook platform, which is very interesting and something new. Hop it will help.

Where can I find free poker training videos?

I want to find some free poker videos online. I can’t afford a membership on paid sites. Anyone know of any sites that are free?

admin answers:

YouTube – Just type in a poker pros name, and most of them have training videos. Or just watching how they play in other matches is also useful.

How do I find local poker players?

I need to breathe new life into my weekly poker game. How do I get new players?

It has been the same players all of the time and is getting very boring!

You can also try starting or finding a meetup group at www.meetup.com . I found a couple great home games through there.

How can I learn playing poker online?

I am looking forward to pass my time playing at the online casinos these days. The only problem is, I do not know how to play poker. So, I want to know about online courses and sites to learn playing.

admin answers:

Our unique e-learning poker course is the ideal way to learn how to play poker. It’s structured like a university course (but more fun!) and will suit complete beginners to poker, along with novice/recreational players. Even experienced poker players will learn a lot from our high quality poker lessons.

The Pokerology course is split into 3 main levels; Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each level contains separate modules, and there are a total of 45 poker lessons – many of which contain interactive elements such as quizzes. At the end of each level there’s a quiz / exam to test what you’ve learned. And best of all – it’s completely free! For more information see the complete list of poker lessons.

What goes on in the mind of a poker addict ?

My crush, who is a poker addict, leaves in the middle of our IM convo to play poker and then returns after quite a long time. Now he does not want to miss his chance to talk to me. Can anyone tell me how bad is it with him and why is he behaving this way ? Am i important ?

admin answers:

I’m a professional poker player and believe me I love my girlfriend to death, but to be good at poker you have to be able to tune everything else out and focus on the hand.
