Your Questions About Free Poker Online No Download

Dienstag, Oktober 21st, 2014

Paul asks…

Where can I play regular poker online?

Well, since I can’t sleep, I’d like to play some poker, and no I don’t want to make bets with my cash, just want to amuse myself while I have insomnia. I downloaded a few games and they’re all texas hold ‚em, went to a few sites and half of them are online casinos that want cash, any suggestions?

admin answers:

Well if you don’t want to deposit your own money to play you can register with a site that gives you free starting capital. There are few of them out there, but the best that I found is:
http://www.pokerstrategy.com/uWURFN
To get the free money you have to:
1. Register
2. Read their poker strategy articles
3. Pass their quiz
4. Open an account on one of the poker sites
5. Enter poker account details and wait for the money

They give the starting free 50$, and when you collect certain amount of points they give you an additional 100$

P.S. They don’t accept USA players, and they perform random id security checks, though yet non of my friends that registered had to pass an ID check.

Ken asks…

Where can I play poker or cards online for free without downloading and registering?

admin answers:

There is actually many games for poker online. For example you can play poker games here for free http://www.agame.com/search.html?search=poker
Hope this is what you are looking for!!

Lizzie asks…

Where’s a good place to download a free texas hold’em game?

I’m looking for a good free downloadable texas hold’em game. I’ve looked around some but all the ones I’ve found are either really lame, a 1 hour demo, or cost obscene amounts of money. Can anyone help?

admin answers:

I don’t know where you can download a free Texas hold em game but i can tell you where you can get a FREE $50 Bankroll and play online poker for free with real money. Visit http://www.pokerroomhustle.com/?p=57, you will have to pass a simple poker quiz and you will be rewarded with a $50 bankroll, you will also have the chance to earn a further $100 Bonus Dollars by playing a certain amount of hands. Thats $150 of poker money absolutely free, i believe that is better than playing some free computer game. On the other hand you can always play for free money at any of the poker sites on the net, e.g. Full Tilt, Pokerstars etc.

Nancy asks…

what is a good online game I can play for free?

I used to play poker and am tired of it….. any ideas for a good free online game? Something that I can build on and play often? I would like it if it would save my progress…….thanks!

admin answers:

Here I go. I’ll do my best.

If you’re looking for a good free online game, you can’t go wrong with League of Legends. Personally, I don’t like it, but it’s extremely popular and relatively easy to learn, from what I hear. I don’t think you can save your progress, but the game itself is solid and isn’t pay-to-win.

League of Legends: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/

Shooters are big in terms of online gaming, the first one that comes to mind is Team Fortress 2. Again, I don’t like it, particularly because of the ‚cartoonish‘ atmosphere, but again it is extremely popular and I’m fairly certain it isn’t pay-to-win. So you know, to play TF2 you need to have a Steam client installed and an account created. Both of these and TF2 are free. TF2 is backed by a strong community and lots of community contributions.

Team Fortress 2: http://store.steampowered.com/app/440/

I used to play a browser-based MMORPG called RuneScape a long, long time ago. Recently it’s gotten a bit too mainstream for my tastes, but you might enjoy it. As I said it’s browser-based, so you don’t need to download anything to play. You just need to have a Java plugin running in your browser. There is a client you can download, but it’s not mandatory. Also, I’m fairly certain they’re working on an HTML5 version of the game. The base game of RuneScape is free, but there is a paid version, called Members, if you’re interested.

RuneScape: http://www.runescape.com/

A couple games I play:

Recently, I’ve gotten into two military shooters: Warface and Contract Wars.

Warface is a well-made military FPS by Crytek, the producers of Crysis and FarCry. It’s free, and extremely good-looking, being made with CryEngine. The playerbase is hurting a bit right now due to some bad decisions (won’t go into that) but the game is solid. As I said the community is small but generally friendly. I have hope that the community and playerbase will recover in the coming months. Take note that Warface is also a browser game, it runs on CryEngine through a plugin called the GFACE Experience Plugin. This can take some time to get used to.

Warface also features co-op alongside the regular PvP. There aren’t many co-op missions to choose from at the moment as the game is in Open Beta. Also, it takes a really, REALLY long time to unlock stuff. But, the starting weapons aren’t what you’d call underpowered. Overall the game is pretty balanced.

Warface: http://www.warface.com/en

Contract Wars is another free FPS I play, and quite honestly, I love it. I used to play it as a way to kill time between classes, but now I can honestly say I have fun playing it. It has microtransactions like any F2P game, but it’s hardly pay-to-win, at least, not in my experience. Sometimes you’ll even get premium guns (albeit only for a day or two) by leveling up.
The game runs on Unity3D through the Unity browser plugin, and isn’t resource intensive at all – my 2011 laptop can run it just fine. It might be a bit difficult to learn the interface at first, but it’ll get easier with time. I can probably say this is my favorite free FPS I’ve played yet.

Contract Wars: http://www.kongregate.com/games/tfender/contract-wars

There’s my two cents. Hope I helped.

Paul asks…

Is there a certain threshold in Nevada casinos where you can claim your winnings tax-free?

ex: winning a certain amount (let’s say $2000) before you have to fill out 1099 forms and that junk.

admin answers:

It depends on what you are playing.

Poker Tournaments: $5000
Slot or bingo winnings: $1200
Keno: $1500

And the casino should provide you with a W-2G form if you are over the threshold. Also available at: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw2g.pdf

Betty asks…

Lookin‘ for a new online casino to play. Which new internet casino is the best?

I like big bonuses, blackjack, video slots, and some of the gimmicky variations on video poker. Any good new online casinos that you know about?

admin answers:

I really like JC. They are a new Microgaming Casino with very aggressive promotions, a full suite of games, and fast payouts. You can read more about them at

http://best-online-casino-world.blogspot.com/

It has a free real $500 play offer that is really cool. They are the best new online casino site.

Chris asks…

Are there any places we can rent a room for an activity or event in Osaka?

I’d like to host parties, musical events, and poker nights somewhere in Osaka, but I have no idea where I could go to rent space. Does anyone know where I could go?
Poker is only illegal if it’s played for money. There’s a Japanese Poker Players Assocation in Tokyo, but they only play with chips and the winner only gets prizes which, like pachinko, is completely legal. But thanks for the warning!

admin answers:

Almost all large restaurants have function rooms available.
Parties would be OK, but probably not music.
There’s usually a set menu and fixed price per person, with the all-you-can-drink option for a bit extra, and a time limit.

Lots of places in Namba or Umeda. Pick up a free paper lot „Hot Pepper“ full of restaurant ads and deals.

Competition in the Osaka restaurant business is fierce, so you can easily find deals for as low as 3000yen/person without drinks. Be ready to pay 5000 for a nicer place with drinks and better food. Beware restaurants that provide rooms that „seat 50 people“ yet really only have room for about 40, plus 10 more chairs wedged in.

For small gatherings, you could probably just get a smaller room „ko-shitsu“ at a restaurant. Many restaurants have private rooms for groups of 4,8, or 12.

If you want to play poker, your best bet is probably to get to know a barkeep and frequent one place that isn’t too busy, yet is gaijin-friendly. If you stick to using poker chips, ask first, and are a good customer, I don’t see why there’d be a big problem.

Same for music.

Gambling is „illegal“ in Japan, except for betting on horses, bicycle races, boat races, the lotteries (several), pachinko ($250billionUS annually) , slot machines, and under the table mahjong betting.
Still, al the legal betting is run by the govt (races)., the banks(lotteries), or the yakuza(pachinko and slots).
Trying to gamble with friends in public might be, odd.

Donald asks…

Can I get comps from playing lots of poker?

If I play poker (1$/2$) for like 6-8 hours straight, can I ask the pit boss for a comp? The casino im going to already has the VIP card system, I doubt ill get much from that.

I’m going to Fallsview Casino or Casino Niagara.
I’d always have atleast 100$ infront of me for the whole night.

admin answers:

They are not going to comp you anything special for playing 1/2 or any poker for that matter. The card system is all you will get for playing poker and it’s like .50 an hour depending on the casino. The reason that table game and slot players get comped is because there playing against the house so the casino makes alot more money off of them than just the rake that they make from poker players. I regular at one casino near me „60-100 hours a week, all poker“ and all I get in the mail is there tournament schedule while my girlfriend might go once or twice a month to play slots and she gets free rooms, food, gas and even „easy play“ cash, LOL.

Your Questions About Free Poker Tournaments

Ruth asks…

If i won 2 online tournements in poker does that mean im good?

I won two online tournements on full tilt poker does that mean im good

admin answers:

I think some responders think you’re talking about play-money or free-rolls. If you are, then I agree with what they said, anyone can win those.

Otherwise, it’s what LegFu said: you’ve left out some critical information. What were the stakes, what type of tourneys were they, how many players were in them, what did the stacks start at, how quickly did the blinds increase.

Even if the tourneys were $100 or $200 buy-in, I’d still say no, it doesn’t mean you’re good, although I don’t know what online tournaments at those stakes are like compared to live ones.

To me it seems similar to asking, „I won 5 sessions of ring-games, does that mean I’m good?“

Linda asks…

What is the cheapest way to try and Qualify for WPT?

Whats the easiest cheapest way to qualify for the world series of poker? Preferably with flights and accomadation included

admin answers:

Well, the absolutely cheapest way to do it is free. You can win a freeroll tournament (no cost to enter) and then use the proceeds of that to play through to the WSOP.

Check this out for freeroll info:

Donna asks…

How do you get the password to Poker Tournaments on Ultimatebet.com?

Freerolls with passwords but no fee to enter.

admin answers:

Those are private free rolls that another group is putting on. If you want to play for money but don’t want to risk your own you can go to pokersourceonline.com and click on the free money tab. I did this and it took about 10-14 days and they deposited my ultimate bet poker account with 50 dollars. After I play so many raked hands I get another 50 so that is an option for you

James asks…

how to make a final table on online poker?

wither a freeroll or a real money tourney how do i make a final table? what is the strategy of making one? could anyone please give me advice? thank you! btw I have been playing online poker for five years and cant seem to break through!

admin answers:

Your Questions About Free Poker

Mary asks…

What free market force prevents unearned wealth?

I understand how competition drives down prices.

However, I’ve often wondered how the free market puts a value on everyone’s labor. What happens when someone’s labor is over valued or under valued?

How can there be huge billionaires in the world? Surely, no one person’s work can be worth that much. There has to be some kind of bad arrangement that screws other people out of their wealth.
I’m not talking about how hard someone works. I’m talking about how the free market allows or disallows people to get paid the true value of their labor.

admin answers:

If you know how to play poker, this will be very easy for me to explain.

If one person starts with more chips, they will make larger plays. Although they’ll lose more, they’ll also win more. This is because if they put as much money up as the other players – they are putting a smaller percentage of their cache in the pot. If the player with the most chips put an equal percentage of their cache in the pot, they will be bidding more chips than the other players. In either case, their losses will be statistically less and and their winnings will be commensurately more.

Have you ever heard that you have to have a job to get a job or have a car to get a car? The same applies here. Once people get ahead, they often stay ahead, and each step they take to get further ahead gets easier.

Steven asks…

Laura asks…

What is the name of the site that lets you keep track of your poker sessions?

I remember a while ago now signing up for a free site that let you input your sessions and it would keep track of it for you. Now I’ve googled every phrase I can think of and can’t seem to find it. It is not pokercharts cause that’s one I saw that looked good at first until I realized you have to pay after 30 days. Anyone know what one I’m talking about or another free one?

Would you be looking for http://www.pokerdominator.com it is a free service that tracks your session details

Michael asks…

Where can I find E-mail software and link software?

Need an e-mail list program to manage and send memebers of my free poker school – would prefer that it not add everyones addres to the ‚from‘ field and be cheap or free 🙂 also looking for a program or code to display my own text instead of the link address in the bottom of the IE window- thanks for the help!

admin answers:

Www.download.com – just fill in the search field with what it is you are looking for, and it’ll show you, very neatly presented, a bunch of programs that more or less fit your description.

(if you don’t find anything useful first try, you may have to change your search word, or include the name of your email provider, etc)

hope this was helpful,
have a pleasant day.

Robert asks…

I am trying to start a free poker league?

things I want to incorporate to make the bar some money:
door prizes given away at the end of the night to make people stick around
bonus chips when you buy drinks, more bonus chips when you buy food
free drinks to the worst „bad beat“ and free drinks to „best hand“

has anyone done this before? does anyone have any experiences that worked out well for them or maybe totally flopped?
I am not being paid, I just want to help the new local bar owners get more business with fun events like this. this is in Nebraska and I know that it has to be free to be legal

admin answers:

This sounds like a really interesting idea. First I would gather feedback from the customers to see if the majority would be interested. If this works out well I would probably run a weekly freeroll series with a point system. In regards to prizes it needs to be something worth coming back for. Maybe entry to a larger tournament to represent your bar?

I have sprained my right wrist and have been searching for games that only require 1 hand. Please give some suggestions?

admin answers:

Try out http://www.torn.com/1632703 it’s free, no downloads. You level up, make money, work for player owned and operated businesses. Own a business and manage your own employees. Player driven economy. Purchase real estate to live in, rent, or sell in the real estate market. Play in the casino with games such as black jack, slots, roulette, poker against live players, and my personal favorite, bet game currency on a variety of real life sporting events such as baseball, football, UFC fights and tons more. Commit crimes, attack other players, create factions and go to war with rival factions. The list goes on and on. Very large player base, with thousands playing per day! You chat with friends, and post pictures enjoying the social aspect of the game. Or play as a loner choice is up to you. I personally love the game.

Lizzie asks…

How do you play poker?

I just need the basic rules, and the idea of poker. I got an online poker game, and Im kind of lost. I think whoever has the highest card wins? But like I said, I have no idea how to play. Please help!

admin answers:

The best way to learn is to play free poker games online, against others, and watch how they play.
Before you do this, it’s important to understand what constitutes a Winning Hand at the table.

The Ultimate winning hand is the Royal Flush… Ace, King, Queen, Jack & 10 SUITED (Same suit of cards.) Either ALL Hearts, All Spades, All Diamonds or ALL Clubs. They cannot be mixed.

Next is the Straight Flush… Five SUITED cards making a Straight Flush, such as 2,3,4,5 and 6, all in the same suit (again there are only 4 suits of cards in the deck: Hearts, Diamonds, Spades or Clubs.
The Hearts and Diamonds are RED in color while the Spades and Clubs are BLACK in color.

Next is 4 of a Kind. 4 Aces beats any other group of 4 of a kind, followed by Kings, Queens, Jacks, 10s and the numbers lower than 10. If you have four of a kind 7s, you will lose to your opponent if he has Four of a Kind 8s or higher.

Full House… Three of a kind (like 3 Aces, with a PAIR (such as 8s), The HIGHER 3 cards will beat a Full House with Lesser valued three of a kind cards.

The FLUSH will always beat a STRAIGHT, but will ALWAYS lose to the Full House, or to another Flush that has the highest value card (Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10 in that order. A Flush is a hand containing 5 SUITED cards and a winning Flush hand (against another Flush at your table) contains the HIGHEST valued card… Such as an Ace.

A straight will beat 3 of a kind, but MUST be in order.. Such as a King, Queen, Jack, 10 and 9.

THREE of a Kind. Many hands are won with 3 of a kind, The HIGHER Valued Hand will always be 3 Aces. That will beat 3 Kings…. And every other 3 of a kind at the tables.

Two Pair: two pairs of cards will Always beat one Pair.

One Pair… Will only beat High Card,

High Card… In order: Ace, King, Queen, Jack,10.

Practice will not always make perfect, but if you play for free, you’ll never lose money.

Susan asks…

How can I get better at card games?

I’m very good at most games, board games, math games, word games but I’m horrible at card games..which ones? All of them! Any suggestions on how I can get better at them?

admin answers:

To play card games you will have to learn how to play them. And then practice the games for free. I will suggest you few sites where you can learn as well as play for free.

Donna asks…

What does stakes mean when playing poker?

call me dumb but im staring to play poker in myspace, and you can go into different rooms to play, depending on how much you want to play with and next to each room it says stakes and has some numbers: 10/20, 25/50,100/200 and so on. what is that mean? thanks
thanks gregory! that really helped

admin answers:

That’s the base bet, at the start you will have an automatic bet you will have to place that goes around the table(the button) the person sitting next to the person with the button has to put down for example 10, and the person next to that 20(I believe that was the order but I might be wrong on the people paying). Then the first 2 cards(or more dependant on the play style) are dealt and the game begins. This also initiates the first bet as else you’d start out playing for free. And nothing is slowly eating your chips away thus you could make the game last forever till you have good cards.

Ken asks…

I’m going to Las Vegas for the first time. Any tips? What games should I learn to play before going?

I don’t know how to play any of them. Do the machines like video poker or slot machines have instructions on the side?

admin answers:

Slot machines are pretty self explanatory. You put in the money and hit start.

Now many machines will have more than one win line, and you can choose how many you play. The more you play, the more it costs, but the greater the chance of winning something.

You can also typically play 1, 2, or 3 credits per spin (sometimes more). You always want to play max credits, because if you don’t you will often be shorting yourself the chance to win the biggest jackpot.

Some slot machines are located in a special area where the payout is advertised (like 98% payout) or something like that. You want to play in areas like that if you find them. This lowers your house edge a lot.

You always want to get a players card and use it on all the slots and on any table games you play. This can earn you free stuff. Do this FIRST before you play anything.

Video poker is again pretty obvious, if you know poker hands. You can tell from the payout table which machines are better than others. You can research that online before you go.

As for table games Blackjack is the most popular and very easy to learn the basics of. The casino will probably give you a tip card if you ask for one that tells you basic strategy.

Roulette is pretty simple to learn too, although the house edge is 5.26%. Mind you it could be that high playing most table games if you don’t know what you are doing.

Most casinos have ‚training sessions‘ where you can learn most of the basic table games. Ask about them at reception. They are free, although it might be nice to tip the dealer who teaches you.

I see some people mentioned learning Texas Hold’em. I don’t know when you are going, but that is a pretty tall order. While the basics of the game are simple, quite frankly if you’ve never played before, you are going to get killed at the table. So I really wouldn’t try that. Stick to the simple house games for now.

What is the best site toplay texas holdem for free online?

I have windows 8 and am looking for a good website to play poker, preferably Texas holdem for free, but interactive, so I am playing with other people not just a computer.

admin answers:

If you do not live in the USA I would recommend playing at pokerstars.com they have the biggest online poker site. They have play money and real money games and they also have freerolls (tournaments where you don’t have to pay to play but can reward real money prizes). If you do live in the USA you can still play on pokerstars.net but only for play money or you can play one of the few sites that allow US players but there are not many players and the sites aren’t very trustworthy.

George asks…

Where could i find free sheet music for a clarinet?

o.k i play clarinet and i want to find cool music to play on it. so yeah anything would be good, but i especially want music that is popular these days, like Poker face, or green day songs it wont matter thanks.

admin answers:

I doubt that there would be songs like that specifically for Clarinet. Clarinet doesn’t usually play these type of songs. If you want to play songs like these I would get the piano music and play from that. That way you get to practice transposing from sheet music. There are some websites but these mostly have classical/ballad type of songs.

If you are not in the USA – some Canadians read and write English so well you don’t even know they are foreigners – then nothing here will help you.

On a completely different note, something I tell everyone who is planning a reunion:

The most important thing you can do to insure a good time is had by ALL is talk to the band/DJ beforehand. The kids who never left town and see each other every week at PTA, soccer practice and poker night are going to want to dance. The ones who did leave town and flew 1,500 miles to attend are going to want to talk, and they are not going to want to shout over the music.

The ideal solution, if you can afford it, is to hire two rooms, one for dancing, one for eating and talking. Unless you are from Beverly Hills High, you won’t be able to afford it. Having the music „on“ for 30 minutes, the off for 30 would be a reasonable compromise. Having if entirely off before and during dinner is smart too. Promise to pay the band/DJ the same amount of money as if they played all night. Impress upon them the desire of half the audience to talk. Reunions are not the same as dances or concerts. People (some people) want quiet time, to talk. Keep hammering that home to the Band/DJ.

Read more, if you like:

The World’s Stupidest DJ

The last reunion I went to was the 25th. The hard-working and well-meaning committee had mistakenly hired a DJ with a room temperature IQ. The man was thick as a plank and many bricks shy of a load. Saying his elevator didn’t go all the way to the top would be too kind. His elevator stayed on the first floor, making grinding noises. Before dinner we were all talking. He played so loud that everyone had to shout over the noise. No one danced. He kept turning up the volume, wondering, no doubt, why people were not dancing. Hmmmm. What would people who hadn’t seen each other for 10, 15 or even 25 years want to do? Sit and talk, or dance? We voted with our feet, but he didn’t notice.

After dinner, another pattern emerged. Mr. „Bright as a Night Light“ would play one slow tune and 10 – 15 couples would dance. Then he’d play 9 fast ones in a row and no one would dance. Duhhh, as my kids would say. Here were 200 people, average age 43, who had just eaten a big meal, and they didn’t want to bounce all over the dance floor. The man would have had trouble finding a pattern on a checker board. We stayed at the tables and shouted at each other over the music, again.

I left with a sore throat and ringing ears, determined that it would be the last reunion I went to in person.

How to get free slot play in Las Vegas?

I’m gonna be going to Las Vegas for about 5 days in March 2010, and I was wondering how to get free slot play/coupons/comps in Las Vegas. Do I sign up for each casino’s players club? Do the casinos have coupon books inside? Are there any casinos off the strip that offer any free buffets or free slot play? Could someone tell me the best way to get some freebies in Vegas, thanks.

admin answers:

Here’s some great tips:

First of all BUY a copy of the American Casino Guide 2010 edition – it’s like 13 bucks on Amazon and it includes a ton of match plays, free slot play and show tickets when you sign up for various cards, coupons for double points for slot machines at several casinos and a bunch of food deals like buy one get one free coupons for buffets and various restaurants and free drink coupons.

I go to vegas 3 or 4 times a year and I’ve bought the book the last 3 years – it’s a great investment. (In fact I’m going to vegas in a week and I just bought a second copy so I can get the coupons back that I used during my list trip a few months ago

Second when you go to a new casino (keep in mind that many share the same players card/ownership) check out if they have any deals for sign up – many will give you free show tickets (riviera gave me free tickets my last trip for any show I wanted) or slot play. Also its a good idea to concentrate your play on only a few cards, which you should always use. Particularly if you think you might want to return to vegas sometime in the next year. Many casinos are hurting pretty badly and will send mail offers for free rooms to even moderate slot players – I’m getting most of my stay comped this trip and I’m by no means a high roller (or even a moderate roller). Stratosphere is notoriously good from free room offers to even low rollers (not a bad place if you’re young and not rich), and the bconnected properties (Gold Coast, Orleans, Main Street Station etc) are also really good for future offers even to moderately low rollers.

If you like the slots do yourself a favor and gamble downtown or off strip (The Palms is just west of center strip (free shuttle from Bills to Gold Coast which is across the street from Palms), has awesome slots, even better video poker and is a pretty hip joint.

The other thing to do before you book a hotel if you dont have a comped room is to check for coupons codes for the various travel sites. Right now Orbitz has a deal for 40 dollars off 3 night hotel stays with the code AFFORB40 – you can get a room crazy cheap (under 10 bucks a night in some cases) Want to stay longer? Book 2 seperate 3 night stays and use the code each time.

Lastly cheap out the website cheapovegas.com – a really cool review site – that will tell you alot about the various vegas casinos.

Hope this helped.

Mary asks…

How do slot machine tournaments work?

I am going to a casino next weekend and I am playing in a slot machine tournament. I hardly ever go to casino’s but when you get an offer for a free room and an offer to play in a tournament with a chance to win 2500 why not! My questions are as follows….

I have a players card and in order to be able to enter the tournament I have to earn 25 points in one day. How much $ does it take to earn 25 points?

How do you play/win in a slot machine tournament?

Any info you can provide would be appreciated!

admin answers:

At most casinos, you get one point for every dollar wagered on a slot machine (or video poker). I have seen casinos that require you to wager up to $2.50 to get a point though, so it can vary.

That does not mean you must SPEND $25, just wager $25. Unless you have to worst luck on the planet, it shouldn’t take more than $15 or so, and of course you could win some money. But really, if you plan on playing slots or video poker at all, 25 points is no big deal. You’ll earn that without trying.

Slot tournaments are really simple. You basically just show up before it starts, and they sit you down at one of a group of designated tournament machines. They say „go!“ and you just mash the button until time is up. Whomever has the most credits on their machine at the end wins.

Good luck and have fun.

What is a good site to play blackjack or poker online for free?

Needs to be 100% free, with some sort of prize like cash or anything else.
~10 pts. to the best answer~
thanks in advance
..Also i would prefer no downloads

admin answers:

If you’re looking for a free poker offering real prize, AllinSpot Poker http://www.allinspot.com will be the best choice for you. AllinSpot provides both ring and tournament games, and all games are free. However, you can earn decent amount of money while playing poker there.

The reason that you can earn real money at AllinSpot is that it has a very unique currency system. AllinSpot poker has an in-house currency, SP$, and the tournaments have a prize in SP$. SP$ can be converted to game dollar(G$) that can be used to play in a ring game. The G$ can also be converted to SP$, and all the SP$ are exchangeable for US$ on the Cashier.

You can win real cash in both tournaments and ring games while playing poker for free if you are good enough at the games. Good luck!

A free roll is a tournament in which you can enter without paying a fee. There may be other restrictions such as being open to new players only or having accumulated x number of points on the site. If you play poker on-line I suggest you take advantage of every free roll you available to you.

In Ron Howard’s new film, „A Beautiful Mind,“ Russell Crowe plays the tormented math genius, John Nash. Among other things, Nash falls in love, mesmerizes federal code breakers, makes some imaginary friends, and suffers through brutal schizophrenia-treating shock therapy. But, oddly, he does very little math.
It’s a film about a revolutionary mathematician; but film-goers will be hard pressed to describe the revolution after the credits roll. And that’s unfortunate. Nash and his 1950 Princeton doctorate dissertation transformed game theory from a marginally useful subset of mathematics and economics into one of the most influential fields used in understanding decision-making today. Economists, political analysts, and business leaders now use game theory to describe and influence everything from Wal-Mart’s post-holiday sales to India and Pakistan’s armed standoff.
Game theorists also designed the Clinton-era $7 billion auction of this country’s broadcast spectrum. Another game theorist largely created the current system that medical school students use to get placement in hospitals.
Simply put, game theory is the study of a conflict situation with more than one participant or player. The players could be poker enthusiasts, job applicants, or hikers racing each other to a summit. When the Globe sets its price, it’s playing a game with the Herald, the Phoenix, other media outlets and advertisers.
The Hungarian mathematician John von Neumann invented game theory in the late 1920s because classical economic analysis couldn’t explain many everyday strategic decisions. For example, a couple of weeks ago the Red Sox traded for a second baseman named Pokey Reese. They then had two choices: They could offer him about $5 million dollars a year and secure his services, or they could offer him less money and risk losing him to another team.
The Red Sox actually faced quite a complicated decision. They had to determine the likelihood that another team would trump their offer if they tried to sign Reese for only $4 million. They had to consider how their fans would react to losing him. They also had signed a new center fielder immediately after acquiring Reese and suddenly faced stricter budget constraints. They also had to consider which of their rivals might scoop up the slick-fielding second baseman; losing Reese to the Yankees would be much worse than losing him to the San Diego Padres.
Ultimately, Sox general manager Dan Duquette chose not to sign Reese to the $5 million contract, allowing other teams to make a bid for him on the free agent market. He was essentially gambling that the Red Sox could ultimately outbid the other teams — in part because Reese wants to come to Boston — but get his services for less money. Until the invention of game theory, economics didn’t have a unified theory for analyzing decisions like this one. They could explain how large markets work, and how bargainers could improve negotiating positions. Many other factors were simply left to sociologists and psychologists.
When von Neumann tried to fill in this gap, he succeeded in developing a theory, but he only proved that his methods could explain simple games — ones with two players where one player’s gain was the other’s loss. In other words, he could explain contract negotiations between Reese and the Red Sox, as long as nothing else mattered, such as the fans or the Yankees.
Of course, almost all human decisions have more than two actors, and many have outcomes where both sides can win. Subsequently the game theory described by von Neumann, although fascinating, proved to have limited use. John Nash’s contribution, in 1950, was to ingeniously prove that game theory could describe all competition involving an infinite number of players even in games with potentially multiple winners.
In that paper, Nash created the now-well-known concept of Nash equilibriums: The game is over when the participants agree on a set of strategies such that no player wants to change to a different one. A Nash equilibrium doesn’t mean that everyone is happy. It just means that no one wants to switch his position given the decisions of others. In the most famous Nash equilibrium, „the prisoner’s dilemma,“ both players reach an unfortunate stable point. In this game, first described soon after Nash published his thesis, police put two guilty criminals, called, for example, Jim and John, in separate rooms. They can either confess or conceal their guilt. The best solution overall would be for both to deny culpability. But, not knowing what the other will do, each one is better off confessing. John will be in deep trouble if he claims innocence and then Ji
